Marvelous Works

“A kaleidoscope of colors” is how the article described Kaihalulu Beach in Maui, Hawaii. Deep red sand, blue ocean, green tropical plants and black lava stone all combine to give the eye a marvelous view of color and beauty in this tropical paradise on earth.

* AOL Travel News Article titled “Worlds Most Colorful Beaches” [see link below] listed 10 of the most beautiful beaches in the world and posted pictures of each that show their vivid and varied colors of sand, rock, water and foilage.  They are a marvelous delight to the eye!

The descriptions given in each article do remind me of the days when, as a child, I used to sit for hours looking at my kaleidoscope, marveling at the many shapes and colors it showed me with just a slight twist of my hand.

I am so glad God is a God of color!  His marvelous works are a handiwork of color all around us which, hopefully, we will take time to enjoy each day.

For, no matter where we might be there is surely some marvelous creation that is visible to us, whether it is a beautiful beach scene, a lovely mountain view, a colorful bird, or a rainbow that happens to cross our path, let’s take time to stop, enjoy and give thanks for His marvelous works that He has placed all around us!

“May I publish with the voice of thanksgiving and tell of all thy wondrous works”  Psalm 26:7 [KJV]
